THE RAY OF "HOPE"

Sub-Saharan, Africa is more heavily affected by AIDS than any other region of the world. There is an estimated 14 million AIDS orphans and that number is expected to grow to 20 million by 2010.

As the active population is slowly disappearing leaving behind only few elderly and a cohort of orphans, it would be less likely possible to have any present or future impact on the African society while overlooking the problem of the orphanage.

“Suffer the little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for to such belongeth the kingdom of heaven” Matthew 19: 14. Jesus gently rebuked His disciples as they were trying to prevent little children to come to Him. Jesus wants them sitting on His lap.

Our orphanage ministry goal is to take these desperate and grieving children to Jesus’ lap while providing for their basic needs. We believe that by aiming at these children, not only do we have an impact in their physical and spiritual life now but we also have an impact in the spiritual life of Africa as a whole as these godly raised children become active in the society.

You can help to provide for the needs of a child otherwise condemned to a life of poverty. You have the power to to become the ray of hope for a child today. "There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land." Deuteronomy 15:11
