Join us to wrap African moms and babies with God’s love!
Malaria is a major public health problem in Cameroon. According to the Malaria Journal of June, 5, 2007, a major malaria carrier responsible for most malaria cases was identified in Cameroon. Pregnant women, new born babies, and Children less than five years old are the most affected. Cameroon has over 900,000 cases a year. It accounts for 45% of hospitalization around the country; it costs 40% to 45% of the household income.
According to BBC news September 18, 2009, the new malaria "poses human threat". Bantu Hope Ministries’ goal is to help pregnant women and moms with babies or children less than 5 years old in Congo and Cameroon who have nowhere else to turn for protection against Malaria.
You can get involved too. Life in Africa is hard especially for pregnant women. What if we give these moms protection and hope? You can! Just $30 provides a mosquito net and bed sheets -- wrapping them in God’s love!
