Evangelisation of MIFI villages

Study the traditional Bamiléké religion
This is the investigation work we have addressed against the satanic altars of the territory. We must invest in prayer against the forces of the evil one and the powers that keep this people (chiefs, notables, sorcerers, secret societies). In this area, responsible Christians from each locality must play a fundamental role by building altars of prayer

to averthrow those erected by the enemy. One must notably break the covenant the Bamileke have made with death.

Build altars of prayer

On these altars , specific prayers are addressed against the satanic altars of the territory. We must invest in prayer against the forces of the evil one and the powers that keep this people from accessing the Gospel. Pray for specific people or groups of individuals that have an influence on the people (chiefs, notables, sorcerers secret societies). In this area, responsible Christians from each locality must play a fundamental role by building altars of prayer to overthrow those erected by enemy. One must notably break the convenant the Bamileke have made with death.

Teach the entire Bible

The Bamiléké often refer to the Old Testament when they want to justify their customs. It is important to discover where the Old Testament is different from their customs, and to leave the similarities that lead them there. Expose the similar spiritual needs of the people of God with theirs.

Do not insist too much on the future heavenly rewards

The Bamiléké received a Gospel that put off until later the present benefits of the Gospel. They believe in God's intervention in their lives only hypothetically and haphazardly; they say: “Help yourself and the heavens will help you”. To be a Christian is a good thing only because it ensures a future after death. Because the Bamiléké are egocentric, a gospel whose benefits are for life after death does not allow them to become transformed. This iq why they had no problems adding to their ancestral beliefs the belief in Jesus as saviour from hell. For this reason the demonstration of Jesus's power in their current situations must be proven.
