PLAN FOR EVANGELISM

The Great Commission: Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit… (Matthew 28:19)

How the master Himself did go about His earthly ministry?

Jesus started His ministry in Galilee by healing a great multitude (Mathew 4). During His three years of ministry on earth, He regularly healed the sick and feed the hungry.
Bantu Hope Ministries is following in the footsteps of the Master with three projects designed to care for the sick and to feed the need of hungry orphans. Those projects are:
-Mosquito nets Project
-HIV/AIDS project
- Provide assistance to orphan trough local organizations
This aspect of the ministry is very important to us so far as we call ourselves Christians. The parable of “The Sheep and The Goats” in Mathew 25 tells us that when we are truly converted and alive in Christ, we cannot be indifferent to the need of those around us. In fact, it is vital for our own salvation for at the second coming, Jesus will separate Christians into “SHEEPS” and “GOATS”. The first group will inherit the Kingdom and the second group will be casted into eternal fire.

20,000 or more ethnic groups yet to be reached! (Sabbath school lesson “The Great Commission Monday June 22, 2009”)

Bantu Hope Ministries and the Great Commission!

"The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough."(Matthew 13:33)

In our last quarterly Sabbath school lesson (The Great Commission Monday June 22, 2009) we learn that it would be false to say the Adventist Church has almost finished the work. We learn that aside from few countries in which our church does not have an official presence (North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Yemen, etc…) we still have more than twenty thousand people groups or “ethnic groups” that have not yet been reached. Our work, therefore is not completed until all people groups have been reached.
We believe that the LORD has called us to take the good news to some of the hard to reach ethnic groups in Central Africa.
We are targeting ethnic groups where there is little or no SDA presence. Our work in each targeted area will be in multiple phases:

  • Initial evangelistic  Campaign
  • Supporting a network of lay ministers to follow each lead after each campaign
  • Support local congregations as it grew with training and church planting.

Revelation 14:6 Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel (the yeast) to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people (the dough).

Sending the Word?

-Friends, there is certainly no shortage of lost people. And there is no shortage of truth in God’s book. But there is frequently shortage of funds to get the Words of Life into the ears of the lost. So God invites us to participate in sending the messengers who bear those words. “How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?” (Romans 10: 14, 15) NKJV
When you support Bantu Hope Ministries, you are sending out the Words of Life. They are not the words of one of our evangelists, but the Words of Jesus! And remember, “No man ever spoke like this Man!” (John 7:46) NKJV
