Baham
The Catholics arrived in 1948-49 and settled thanks to the generosity of king Kamwa. The first chapel was built in Dja' and later transferred later to Penkoua. The first vicar came In 1950 (Andre Tankou). It is through the extension of the Catholic churches and the Evangélique Church of Cameroon in Bandjoun that Baham received Christianity. The first evangelic church of to settle in the village was the True Church of God.
Bafoussam
Through the missionaries from the Basle Mission in Bali, Christianity was introduced in Bafoussam. Catholics appeared on the scene by 1913, but didn't plant their first church until 1928. These two communities were the only ones in Bafoussam until 1948 at which the Native Baptist Church (NBC) was planted in Ndiangdam. Later on during 1970s other churches the such as CBC, the EPC, the PCC arrived and finally in the 1980/90's the evangelic churches the such as the the Full Gospel Mission, the True Church of God, the Apostolic Church and many others were settled.
Badeng
Around 1920 Christianity penetrated Badeng through the Evangelical Church of Cameroon. January 1, 1925 Father Albert Geissier created the satellite station of Tougang-Balengsap in a small space. In 1933 the Christians from this mission split into 3 groups of Tyo-Balengsap, Kouogouo-Bamougoum and Banengo-Bafoussam.
Bameka
The Gospel arrived in Bameka starting 1919 through Djiomghuo-Bandjoun. The first protesting service took place in Sangmetè. The Catholic church was planted in 1920. In 1924 Mbuo' Takougne Feukam offered a site for the construction of the Evangelical church of Cameroon in Djut and the church was built in 1925. Christianity was introduced in the village through the impetus of chief Takukam II.
Bangam
The first missionaries were catholic; Protestants arrived on Bangam ground around 1921.
Badenkop
The first church was the Evangélique Church of Cameroon setelled during the time of German colonization (1920). The second church to be settled was the Adventist Church. No other church has been able to settle here, not even the Roman Catholic Church.
