Yvette Anzoh Chirelle: Director of Humanitarian Projects.

Yvette was executive secretary of Razel Cameroon.

In the city of Bertoua where she lives, she notices that the number of children homeless was growing rapidly. HIV/AIDS was taking its toll to the population leaving behind desperate children with no relatives and no one to care for them.

In 2006, she left her job and founded an orphanage (OREAPED) to help these children in desperate situation. As of December 2009, OREAPED has over 100 children.

In the mean time, Yvette realizes that the children in her care have the same thing in common: their parents were either victim of HIV/AIDS or the mother was victim of sexual abuse and had abandoned the child at birth.

Yvette joins CARE INTERNATIONAL in 2007 and help start the project “CARE BERTOUA” to help the population understand better about HIV/AIDS and how it is transmitted. In 2009, Yvette joins UNICEF-EIP-MINAS with their fight against sexually abused children in Cameroon.
